Many people asked to see my whole area so here it is ... Eventually the walls are going to be painted. Our couch in the living room that opens up to this area is a blue color, more muted than the blue bins on the shelf in here, so I'm thinking a muted bluish grey..
View from the kitchen doorway.. 90% of the furniture is IKEA. The only things that aren't are the small yellow shelf shown in the second picture, the scrap storage cubes, and a side table that my clip it up is on..
and from the living room doorway...
the desk to the right is the newer one, I bought it at IKEA the last time we went. It's the same as the one that the mac is on, but I was using the computer desk and our old kitchen table for scrapping, but now I have a spot just for scrapping. I keep all my supplies that I use often (inks, punches, fabritac, trimmer, etc) in the old crate. I sometimes carry it in the living room to scrap while watching tv..
This is a view from my scrapping desk... The yellow shelf is one that was given to me by my mom that I painted yellow (the same yellow as the corkboard frame in the photo above that I made from an old frame) and made for BB's things.. his little art station.. with his art hanging above. The chalkboard wall is probably my most favorite thing in here.. It gets used A LOT. I wiped it down, but it needs a good cleaning..
A close up on top my Expedit shelf... The glass jug and apothecary jars were bought at an antique store and a thrift store...the large IKEA frame holds a piece of 12X12 paper, the letters are from Target from a while ago, and the mug is from paper source. The other white frame to the right holds a print from Sugarloop on Etsy. (There are so many more I want from there!)
My clip it up..that is highly unorganized right now. It currently sits on top a spare side table that was once in our living room... until I find something permanent. And hanging there next to it.. two clipboards that house my favorite two layouts at the moment..
More very unorganized-ness. My paper stash is soooo unorganized right now.. it needs a cleaning through badly. Its sorta all just jammed in there.. ha.
My pretty lace and ribbon stash sits up on top in a wire basket from Hobby Lobby..
I have a ton of jars on that shelf..lots of old ones, lots of new ones.. big ones and small ones. I also have a variety of storage boxes, bins and wicker baskets that hold all of my supplies.
and this is BB's version... his crayons, chalk, markers, paints, paper, felt, notepads...I could go on and on about what all this little shelf holds..
My little bouquet of flowers he's been making for me. He just keeps adding to it with different sorts. How do you like that for techniques? Paint, markers, buttons, gems, jewels..
and of course, Cass made her way into the room and got all up in the way of my picture taking process...
