brother and sister.
So many people told me that he'd be jealous. That it would take him a while to adjust. That he'd feel left out. That he'd beg for attention. Not Brayden. Not at all.
He clings on to her all day long. He is always asking to hold her and help feed her. He randomly goes over to her and kisses her forehead and talks to her. She just stares at him when he's near by. She hasn't quite figured out how to smile at will, but her eyes light up when he's talking to her.
Giving her "essmo" kisses... aka Eskimo kisses.
and hugs. :)
She fell asleep in his lap, and he moved on to color on the floor next to her where I laid her down. He really is such a good and helpful big brother.

our christmas eve eve.
since bray will be gone with his dad for christmas eve, we had some eve eve fun tonight. he got to open a present..a clear nerf gun with laser light..and we took him to see christmas lights.
lyla, on the other hand, was not a happy baby. i've been attempting getting photos of these two in their christmas jammies for a few days now, and every time i try, she gets all fussy on me. :( will have to try again on christmas day.

first outing.
At one week old, Lyla's first trip out..to the doctor for her one week check up. (and also her first of many drives thru Starbuck's:)
She HATES being buckled in. She screams until the last click snaps.
Bb pretending to be doctor. Her pediatrician said she's doing great, weighed in at exactly 7 pounds.
Happy to be home and swaddled up nice and warm.
